Update on COVID-19 situation

As the global pandemic of COVID-19 quickly spreads, it is impacting everyone around the globe. The government of Mauritius has followed the global trend and decided to proceed with the lock down of the country. As the situation continues to develop at an increased pace, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re supporting our employees and you — our customers and partners - in these difficult times.
Our clients will notice absolutely no change in the levels of services provided by Investors Europe as our platforms and services are 100% online cloud-based solutions. We therefore anticipate no interruptions to our operations, to the customer experience or to your ability to access trading platforms and our support team of account managers. We are 100% connected and working harder than ever to ensure seamless customer experience in these volatile markets.
To limit, to the minimum, the possible spread of the virus and to safeguard our employees, we have taken actions to reduce any need for staff to come into our offices as they continue to work from existing remote working environments. We have also put a policy in place halting all business travel immediately and requesting that any client meetings take place virtually rather than physically, wherever possible. We do apologize for this inconvenience, but the safety of our clients and employees is our top priority at the moment. In addition, a dedicated team is monitoring the situation closely on an ongoing basis and providing continuous support and guidance to colleagues in the affected countries, as and when necessary. We follow the advice and recommendations of international institutions and, in particular, the World Health Organization (WHO) and national authorities.
Please note that due to the recent capital markets collapse around the globe some of our partners have decided to increase margin requirements for virtually all products.
