Investors Europe CRS activity

Solving the global challenges facing our world such as education, healthcare, climate change, governance, unemployment and infrastructure amongst others means that business must strive to be socially responsible.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or sustainable business practice, describes work businesses do to positively impact society, the environment or the economy. There is not a one size fits all approach to CSR, thus it is important to have a strong conviction for the cause chosen.

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) has experienced explosive growth in the last 20 years to the point that many companies have made it integral to their corporate mission statement. Though CSR may not solve all the world’s problems, the need for and importance of CSR has never been more urgent than today. It provides a way for firms to benefit themselves while also benefiting the society. At Investors Europe, we understand the need to support worthy causes that we care about - education and culture, protecting the flora and fauna of Mauritius, relieving suffering and poverty in all its forms and make efforts that contribute to making the world a better place for all who live in it. With this in mind in 2017, our Founder Bertrand Boulle, set up Investors Trust for charitable and humanitarian purposes. The Trust initiates and supports significant activities to advance these causes.

As of today, amongst others, our CSR efforts have enabled selected organizations to achieve their goals on the ground. In environment and climate change, we have supported efforts to educate young people on the effects of plastic waste and the importance of keeping the environment clean by partnering with ‘Zet Dan DoDo” (“Throw in the DoDo”), a simple yet effective initiative from Corinna Durocher. ‘Zet Dan DoDo’ teaches the young children of Mauritius about the importance of keeping the environment clean by collecting plastics and dealing with pollution within their grasp. We challenge you to be a champion for sustainable business practice. Explore more about our CSR activities and ways of engagement here.
