In Austria, the Wiener Börse AG, also known as the Vienna Stock Exchange (VSX), is one of the most established exchanges in Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

Since 1999, trading on the entire cash market has been done through the trading system of Deutsche Börse, Xetra. By taking this step, Wiener Börse AG joined an international network with over 400 active participants worldwide.

The ATX (Austrian Traded Index) is the largest stock market indices on the exchange.

It documents the price dynamics of the most liquid market segment of Austrian stocks.

All stocks that are included in the index must be listed in the official market segment of continuously traded stocks, have the largest market capitalization on the Vienna Stock Exchange and a free floating capital.
